Honda launched Aviator in India
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched ‘Aviator’, an automatic scooter, in the Western market on Saturday. Honda Divisional Head NK Rattan said that “We have an all-India sales target of one lakh Aviators for 2008-2009,” Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, which is a 100-per cent subsidiary of Japan’s Honda Motor Company, launched the Aviator at the Delhi Auto Show in January.
Aviator is the sixth product from Honda India stable. Its previous launches include Activa, Dio, Eterno, Unicorn and Shine.
Honda Aviator is available in two variants — standard and deluxe — and in five premium colours, the product would cost Rs 40,283 at ex-showroom price in Chennai. Deluxe variant has front disc brake and 12″ alloy wheels.
It would be available in five colours and is proven 102 cc Honda engine. It would give 45-50 kmpl on city roads. Its features include disc brake, telescopic front suspension and 12-inch alloy wheels, among others.
